Vacationing with Your Other Half

Let’s be real, who doesn’t love being on vacation? Any time you’re not working, whether you’re at home on your couch or drinking margaritas poolside, a vacation is a vacation, and that’s a reason to celebrate! But as we know, everyone is different and vacation can mean something different to anyone.

So, what’s your ideal vacation? Do you like to ski down the powder white slopes and then curl up in the lodge with a dark winter beer next to your man? Does the crackling sound of the warm fireplace on your face give you the most relaxation possible? There is something so cozy and peaceful about a winter vacation, and I can see why many people take off to mountains to celebrate!

If cold really isn’t your thing, what is? Do you prefer the scent of coconut tanning oil and walking hand in hand and stopping to draw your names in the sand? Do you love taking a cold shower and going out on a romantic date under the hot summer sky to show off your new suntan? Believe me, nothing beats a romantic sunset, and I can see why so many people love summer the most!

Or, do you prefer to take your vacation at home and relish in every comforting aspect of a stay-cation? Does sleeping late in your own bed, not having to set an alarm, and ordering takeout on your couch at night sound like the perfect way to spend your days off with your sweetie? It sounds pretty amazing to me, and saving money on an expensive trip sounds even better!

Whatever you type of vacation you choose, just remember to take some time to relax and give you and your other half a break. You both deserve some self-love, some loving on each other and some peace and quiet from what this crazy world can bring! So what are you waiting for? Grab your honey and go make yourself some vacation plans now!
